Editorial Policy

Last updated: May 2026

CryptoInsight is an independent crypto publication operated by Tat Thang. This page describes how we research, write, verify, and correct the content on this site.

1. Sourcing Standards

Every article is researched against primary sources first:

  • Official project documentation, whitepapers, and GitHub repositories
  • On-chain explorers (Etherscan, BscScan, Solscan, etc.)
  • Reputable market data providers (CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, DefiLlama)
  • Public regulatory filings and official announcements
  • Established industry publications for context and quotes

We attribute non-trivial facts, statistics, and quotes to their source. Where possible, we link directly to the primary source so readers can verify the claim themselves.

2. Fact-Checking Process

Before publication, every article is checked for:

  • Numerical accuracy (prices, market caps, supply figures, TVL)
  • Date and timeline accuracy
  • Correct attribution of quotes and statements
  • Working links to cited sources
  • Technical accuracy of protocol mechanics and security claims

Market data changes constantly. We timestamp price-sensitive content and recommend readers cross-check current figures via the linked source before acting on any information.

3. AI Tools Disclosure

We use AI tools as research assistants and writing aids — for summarizing documentation, drafting outlines, and editing for clarity. Every published article is reviewed, fact-checked, and finalized by a human editor before going live.

AI is not used to fabricate quotes, invent statistics, or generate content that has not been independently verified. If we materially rely on AI-generated analysis for a specific claim, we say so in the article.

4. Editorial Independence

Our editorial coverage is not for sale. Specifically:

  • Affiliate partnerships (where we earn a commission if a reader signs up to a service) do not influence whether or how we cover a project. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every article that includes them.
  • Display advertising (such as Google AdSense) is served automatically and is independent of our editorial calendar.
  • We do not accept payment for positive coverage. We do not publish sponsored content that is not clearly labeled as such.

5. Conflicts of Interest

Our founder, Tat Thang, is an active crypto investor. He may hold positions in assets discussed on this site. We avoid publishing time-sensitive trading content on individual assets where a personal position could materially benefit from reader behavior. If a meaningful conflict exists for a specific article, it will be disclosed in the article.

6. Corrections Policy

When we get something wrong, we fix it transparently:

  • Minor edits (typos, broken links, formatting) are corrected without notice.
  • Factual corrections (wrong number, wrong date, misattributed quote) are corrected inline with a clear note showing what was changed and when.
  • Material updates(a story develops or our position changes) are noted at the top of the article with an "Updated" line.

To report an error, please contact us via our Contact page. We aim to address corrections within 24 hours on weekdays.

7. What We Don't Publish

  • Personalized investment advice or portfolio recommendations
  • Specific price predictions presented as forecasts
  • "Guaranteed return" trading signals or strategies
  • Coverage of obvious scams without clear warnings to readers
  • Content that promotes financial behaviors we wouldn't recommend to a friend

8. Reader Trust

If you ever feel an article on CryptoInsight crosses these lines, please tell us. Editorial integrity is the only asset an independent publication has.
